Clarendon EDC

Whether you’re contemplating moving your family or your business, Clarendon, Texas, extends a Texas Panhandle-sized welcome and offers the Clarendon Economic Development Corporation with an experienced staff ready and willing to assist.  Past projects have included façade grants to assist in revitalizing the downtown area, tax abatement facilitation, and job grants targeting primary job creation.  Assistance varies on a case-by-case basis.  The Clarendon EDC has a Type B status, allowing us to fund developing industries, while cultivating our community and improving the quality of life here in Clarendon.
 
The Clarendon Economic Development Corporation is committed to the promotion of high quality development in the Donley County area and to improvement in the quality of life for its citizens. We encourage vision, commitment and cooperation – three words that describe the attitude of the Clarendon EDC. CEDC promotes quality development of the Texas Panhandle Plains region and is always searching for ways to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Clarendon and the surrounding area.

CEDC has assisted in the creation and expansion of several businesses in our community. The Clarendon EDC offers incentives to businesses based upon job creation/retention and increase in tax base. Coupled with the local government’s pro-business attitude, Clarendon, Texas is an attractive location for new and expanding businesses.
